These red chests require an ability you won’t obtain until later in the game, so don’t worry about trying to get into them until later on. How do you open the red chests with antenna in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

You’ll need to get the Electro Dart ability for BD-1 to open the red crates with an antenna in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. You’ll get it as part of the story when passing through the Fogged Expanse in Chapter 5.2. However, you can visit the area earlier than that and get it early if you desire.

Near each red chest, you’ll find a sparking electric circuit. You have to hit this with the Electro Dart to overload it. Once you do, the red crate will unlock, and you can open it up. There are quite a few of these scattered throughout the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, so make a note of them when you see one. Once you get Electro Dart, you’ll have to backtrack to open them all.
