Dead Island 2 Survivor Skill Card Choice

Dead Island 2 Survivor Skill Card Choice: Which Is Best To Equip First?

The Dead Island 2 Survivor Skill Card choice is the second decision that players will need to make, following Slayer selection. Players are given two cards to pick from. Here’s which DI2 Survivor Skill Card is best to equip first.

Which Dead Island 2 Survivor Skill Card to choose first?

The best Dead Island 2 Survivor Skill Card to choose first is “Safety First.”

Though it’s not immediately obvious, blocking and dodging attacks is a massive part of Dead Island 2’s combat system. Therefore, any Survivor Skill Cards that reward either or both of those mechanics are well worth considering.

With Safety First, players are able to block or dodge to regain health. This can be huge in a challenging battle where you’re very low on health. Nail some dodges, though, and you’ll find yourself back in the fight.

Of course, players are free to choose whichever Survivor Skill Card they like, and there is no truly wrong answer. However, Safety First would be my priority, and I’d lean into anything that rewards a good dodge or block.
