Overwatch 2 Season 4 Rank Bug: Where Are My Season 3 Rewards?

An Overwatch 2 Season 4 rank bug is showing players’ incorrect ranking, with them being given a lower Season 3 rank than what they achieved, affecting the rewards that they receive. Fortunately, Blizzard is on the case with a fix, so here’s what you need to know about this peculiar glitch.

Is there an Overwatch 2 Season 4 rank bug fix?

The Overwatch 2 rank bug is being addressed by Blizzard, with its Game Director Aaron Keller revealing that a future update will rectify the problem. According to Keller, the rank bug will be fixed in the next patch later in April, and affected players should receive their correct Season 3 ranking, competitive points, titles, and rewards once the patch goes live.

The rank bug caused a lot of controversy among the OW2 community, given that the game removed rank decay as of Season 4. However, given that players’ final ranks for Season 3 were incorrect, this caused many to believe that rank decay was still instated in the game, forcing Blizzard to clarify that this was a bug rather than an intended feature.

The last Overwatch 2 update was pushed live on April 11, so it’s unclear when the next update will be released aside from it being available at some point this month.
