The XDefiant closed beta for PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC is available now. Ubisoft’s newest FPS game should prove an exciting alternative to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but you’ll need to get access first. Here’s how to access and play the XDefiant beta on all supported platforms.
How to sign up for XDefiant’s closed beta on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
You can access the XDefiant closed beta through Twitch Drops. While the sign-up process only takes about an hour to complete, you must sign up within the first 48 hours of the closed beta to get access.
Here’s how to sign up:
- Head to the Ubisoft Connect website.
- Click on Account Management.
- Check your platform of choice is connected to your Ubisoft Connect profile.
- Head to the Ubisoft Drops website.
- Link your Ubisoft Connect profile to your Twitch account.
- Head to Twitch.
- Find one of Ubisoft’s partnered streamers who are playing XDefiant.
- Wait 30 minutes, then click the notification in the top-right of your screen.
Now you’ll be added to a randomized queue and will receive an email when you are granted access.
XDefiant’s closed beta runs from April 13 at 10 AM PT/6 PM BST to April 23 at 11 PM PT/7 AM BST (April 24). But you must sign up before 10 AM PT on April 15 to get access.
