overwatch 2 season 4 start time release

When Is the Overwatch 2 Season 4 Start and Release Time?

Overwatch 2 Season 4 begins today, April 11, and with it, people are wondering when its start time will be. So when will OW2 players be able to jump into the new season, get their hands on Lifeweaver, and start climbing up its competitive ranks?

When does Overwatch 2 Season 4 begin?

Overwatch 2 Season 4 will begin at 11 AM PT/10 AM ET/6 PM GMT. There will be server downtime before the new season’s release, after which players can dive in and experience the latest update.

OW2 will add the new support hero Lifeweaver as part of its new season, along with a new Battle Pass. This will include new sci-fi-themed skins such as Galactic Emperor Sigma, all part of the ‘Overwatch 2 Space Opera’ Blizzard is promoting.

Additionally, the new map Talantis will also be added later in the month. This map was created in a live stream by developers and Twitch viewers, and it is set to debut in the game’s Arcade mode for a limited time from April 25–May 1.

There will also be some hero changes in the new season, including adjustments made to Mercy, Sigma, Reinhardt, and Cassidy, while Brigitte will receive a sizeable update to her ultimate ability Rally, increasing the size of her shield while giving her a stun ability.

Here are the patch notes for the upcoming season, along with our Season 4 preview.
