Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries S Plus Plus Leon Guide

Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries Leon S++ Guide

Getting an S++ rank with Leon in Resident Evil 4 remake Mercenaries is challenging. Unlike the other three characters, he doesn’t have a gimmick on which to rely. Instead, he has three weapons, and you’ll constantly have to switch between them as you run low on ammo. Fortunately, he has a flexible loadout, which allows you to fight well at any range.

To get S++ rank in RE4 remake Mercenaries with Leon, you need to get 1,000,000 points on each map. The easiest way to accomplish this is:

  • Kill all 150 enemies.
  • Keep your bonus alive.
  • Live until the end of the round.

If you can accomplish the above, you will get an S++ rank on a map.

RE4 remake Mercenaries: Leon’s loadout

Leon starts each map with the following inventory:

  • SG-09R (with Laser)
  • Stingray (with Scope)
  • Riot Gun
  • First Aid Spray
  • Combat Knife x1

The main issue you’ll run into when using Leon in Resident Evil 4 remake Mercenaries is that you’ll constantly be running out of ammo. Unlike the other three characters, he doesn’t have an ability that allows him to cause damage without using ammo, and enemy bullet drops are split between three guns. So, you’ll need to get comfortable switching between the handgun, shotgun, and sniper rifle and instantly re-engaging the enemy.

You should use Mayhem Mode whenever possible, as it increases your weapon power and rate of fire, which helps make each bullet count. If you let it charge to the second and third level, you’ll get more points per headshot, but you don’t need them to get S++.

Also, keep in mind the stage weapons. The cannon in the Castle and the miniguns on the Island can help save ammo and are great for taking down bosses.
