A Diablo 4 open beta error reading ‘Your login attempt has timed out. Please try again’ is preventing players from accessing the game, giving the error code 30008. So what is this message about, and why do players receive it?
What causes Diablo 4’s ‘Your login attempt has timed out’ error?
The Diablo 4 ‘Your login attempt has timed out’ error is caused by the lengthy queue times the game is experiencing in its open beta, with its servers being inundated with new players. As such, login attempts may time out during this process.
Alternatively, your login may have timed out due to you getting past the queue, but not being active in the game. Anecdotally, we weren’t active in-game for five minutes after our queue time had concluded, and then faced the error screen as a result.
So if you want to make sure you aren’t kicked out of the Diablo 4 open beta servers, you need to make sure that you’re available when your queue time has concluded. Keep an eye on the time and frequently check in on the queue for when your wait time has ended.
This login issue isn’t the only problem facing the action RPG. Some reported in its previous beta that it was bricking their GPUs, which we have a fix for right here. Many have also wondered if it supports couch co-op.
