Where to Buy the My Hero Academia Teddy Bear ‘Build-a-Bear’ Plushies

My Hero Academia fans are scrambling to discover exactly where they can buy a new teddy bear line featuring some of the franchise’s most popular characters, and wondering if the new plushies are from the Build-a-Bear Workshop. While many are referring to them as “Build-a-Bear,” this is actually a separate collection that is unaffiliated with the company. Here’s what we know about the new collection, and where you can buy them.

Where are the new My Hero Academia teddy bears available to buy?

You can buy the new My Hero Academia teddy bear plushies from 7-11 stores in Japan in summer 2023, priced just below $30 USD at the time of writing. It appears as though there are five currently available, but there may be more being added in the future.

There is no news yet on whether the collection will be coming to stores across the United States, but there are some great alternative options available over on Amazon.

The teddy bear line comes as Season 6 of the hit anime show is drawing to a close on Crunchyroll, leaving audiences wondering when Season 7 will be coming to screens, and whether it will be the end of the series entirely when it does. The heroes were victorious in the Paranormal Liberation War, but now face a public unconvinced in their power, as well as countless villains that have been broken free by Shigaraki.

Creator Kohei Horikoshi has stated his hopes that the manga series on which the anime is based will come to a definitive end on multiple occasions, but has missed the deadline he set for himself on numerous occasions. If it does reach its conclusion later this year (2023), then the anime may not be too far behind.

My Hero Academia is available to stream and watch on Crunchyroll, with the Season 6 finale airing on March 25, 2023.
