Counter-Strike 2 Console Release Date

Counter-Strike 2 Console Release Date: Is It Coming to Xbox, PS5, and PS4?

With the Limited Test now live on PC, those without computers are no doubt wondering if there’s a Counter-Strike 2 console release date. Here’s the need-to-know info about a potential CS2 PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One launch.

Is there a Counter-Strike 2 console release date?

Counter-Strike 2 would have a console release date of summer 2023. However, only the PC version has been confirmed for now.

It’s possible that Counter-Strike 2 is planned for a console launch, as current-gen systems like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S have proved to be extremely popular, and last-gen consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One still have a large player base.

Though many may have forgotten, CSGO originally launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 alongside the PC version. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the new CS game on consoles.

As current-gen consoles now support keyboard and mouse inputs and higher frame rates, Counter-Strike 2 could work well on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

For now, there is no officially confirmed information about Counter-Strike 2 coming to consoles. However, if and when information is revealed, this post will be updated.
