Tchia PS5 and PS4 Lag

Tchia PS5 and PS4 Lag: How To Fix Stutter and Frame Drops

Tchia PS5 and PS4 lag can be very frustrating to deal with. Whether it’s stutter and/or frame drops, it’s natural for players to want a smooth experience instead of being stuck close to 30 FPS. Thankfully, there are some ways to help improve performance.

How to fix Tchia PS5 and PS4 lag

To fix Tchia PS5 and PS4 lag, players should:

  • First, ensure that the game has been fully updated.
    • Hit the Options button on the controller and select “Check for update.”
  • Next, if playing on PS5, make sure the PS5 version is installed.
    • The PS4 version won’t look as good or perform as well.
  • Disable Motion Blur and Film Grain.
    • Go to “General” in the settings menu and find these options below “Visuals.”
  • Lower the Field Of View.
    • If you can put up with a tighter camera, lowering the field of view should result in smoother gameplay.

By combining these fixes, players should see an improvement in the game’s smoothness. With that said, it’s not a perfect fix, so hopefully developer Awaceb is working to further optimize the game, especially for those playing on high-powered systems like the PS5.
