The Finals Crossplay: Can PC Play With PS5, PS4, and Xbox Players?

The Finals has just burst onto the competitive FPS scene with a brand new beta, with players already wondering if the upcoming free-to-play shooter will support crossplay between PC and console. PS5, PS4, and Xbox players are often left snubbed in favor of PC players usually getting first dibs on any alpha or beta playtests, with Embark Studios having opened applications already on The Finals, with a closed beta currently running until March 21, 2023.

Can you play The Finals cross-platform between PC and consoles?

The current beta build of The Finals is exclusively available on PC for its playtest period, with no information on console crossplay as of yet. This means console players will sadly have to wait until either another console-focused beta is announced or the game fully releases.

Given Embark Studios’ experience with former Battlefield devs on the team, the console player base will surely be one they’re familiar with and want to tap into, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X platforms to be included in the full release of the game. However, last-gen players on PS4 and Xbox One look to be left behind in support of The Finals’ demanding demolition and environmental destruction mechanics.

The Finals, previously codenamed Project Discovery, was placed at the forefront of development efforts by Embark after they announced the delay of Arc Raiders, another free-to-play shooter project.
