A Fortnite first-person mode release date and time has been potentially revealed due to a leak before the end of Chapter 4 Season 1. As usual, you should take all Fornite leaks with a grain of salt, but this one has been surprisingly verified by multiple sources, so chances are that it’s true. Here’s when you can expect first-person mode to be made available in Fortnite.
What is the Fortnite first-person release date and time?
The Fortnite first-person mode release date is expected to be the start of Chapter 4 Season 2 which should be on March 10. The release time should be early that day at either 2 am ET or 4 AM ET based on the times for prior seasons in Fortnite.
This release date and time are based on a leak by HypeX on Twitter in a tweet where he says that it has been confirmed by three other prominent Fortnite leakers including ShiinaBR, GMatrixGames, and iFireMonkey. According to the tweet, Fortnite first-person mode is coming “next season.”
That said, there are some caveats we should mention. There’s no guarantee that Epic Games will introduce first-person mode at the start of the season. It also could be saved for Chapter 4 Season 3.
In February 2023, Epic Games patched a bug that allowed players to select first-person view from Save The World and have that transfer to other modes. Perhaps this was inspiration for the developer to make this “bug” permanent.
The end date for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 was actually changed recently. The Fortnite first-person mode was found in new datamined files in January 2023.
