There’s no easy mode in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Since it’s from the devs behind Nioh and Ninja Gaiden, it should be no surprise that the game is challenging. So, if you bounce off other Souls-like games, this one probably isn’t for you.
However, the game becomes easier if you persevere and keep at it. People make fun of the “git gud” mentality, but it’s true. If you want to beat Wo Long and games like it, you must practice and be prepared for failure.
On the flip side, those who want Wo Long to be more challenging can unlock the Rising Dragon difficulty by beating the game. Enemies are much stronger in this mode, but you get to keep all your items, and new 5-star gear is added to the game to help give you an edge.
