Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Deluxe Edition

Is Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Deluxe Edition Worth Buying on PC, PS5, and Xbox?

The Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Deluxe Edition costs quite a lot more than the Standard Edition, so asking whether it’s worth the price is a good question. The regular version of Wo Long on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S costs $59.99, whereas the Deluxe Edition costs about 40% more at $84.99. That’s quite a lot to pay for any new game, so is the Deluxe Edition really worth getting?

Is Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Deluxe Edition worth it?

The Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Deluxe Edition is only worth buying if you want to pay for the game’s DLC ahead of time with the included Season Pass.

While the digital art book and mini soundtrack are fun bonuses in the Deluxe Edition, the Season Pass will come with three DLC expansions. The release dates for these add-ons are not set in stone yet, but they include the Battle of Zhongyuan on June 2023, Conqueror of Jiangdong on September 2023, and Upheaval in Jingxiang on December 2023.

We recommend that you download the Wo Long Fallen Dynasty demo first to see whether you enjoy the game’s challenging combat and fantasy story themed around Chinese lore and history. If you can imagine yourself fully completing the game, then the Deluxe Edition will be worth it.

If you’re still not sure, the Season Pass can be purchased as a standalone product. So not getting the Deluxe Edition won’t be much of a lost opportunity, even if the DLCs may cost a bit more than the $25 difference between the regular and Deluxe Editions.
