Is There a Pokémon Stadium Switch Release Date?

Pokémon Stadium and its sequel are coming to Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack. It’s inclusion was announced in 2022, but the announcement wasn’t specific about when it would arrive.

When is the Pokemon Stadium Switch version release date?

The Pokemon Stadium Nintendo Switch release date is 2023.

Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Stadium 2 were announced for the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion pack in September 2022’s Nintendo Direct. Nintendo announced the games would arrive in 2023, but a specific release date has yet to come. It’s also unknown whether they will arrive at the same time.

You can play both Pokemon Stadium games when they are released by purchasing the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack. This costs $49.99/£34.99, but it’s not a one-time purchase. This fee gets you access for a year, after which you’ll need to renew your subscription.

While many people are excited about the upcoming release of Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, there is a significant drawback. Unlike the original, players will not be able to transfer Pokemon from other games into Pokemon Stadium, a great feature of the original games.

Even if you’re eagerly waiting for the re-release of Pokemon Stadium, there’s plenty of additional Pokemon content to look forward to. The recent Pokemon Presents announced the release date window for the first Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC.
