hitman psvr 2 release date

Is There a Hitman PSVR 2 Release Date?

Hitman 3’s release in 2021 was accompanied by PSVR releases for the entire trilogy. Now that the PSVR 2 has been released, many wonder whether the games will have a release date for the PlayStation’s latest AR headset.

Will Hitman come to PSVR 2?

There has been no official announcement on Hitman for PSVR 2. Hitman VR is playable on PS5 via the PS5 PSVR adapter, which you can purchase for a little over $20.

So while it’s not guaranteed, a Hitman PSVR 2 release date would be well received by those who enjoy the sandbox assassination game. If we’re lucky, it might also be a free upgrade for those who own the PSVR version of Hitman.

Over 20 PSVR games have been confirmed to get a free PSVR 2 upgrade (via PlayStationLifestyle), and we expect that list to fill out in the coming months.

If the high price of the PSVR 2 has put you off from buying the VR headset, you can still enjoy Hitman via the PS5 PSVR adapter. You’re not missing out on much right now as there are only four exclusive games out now for the PSVR 2 (Horizon Call of the Mountain, Gran Turismo 7 VR, Resident Evil Village VR, Fantavision 202X VR) with four more scheduled for launch later this year. Instead of buying now, you may want to wait for the VR headset to be discounted.
