- Paler Skins for Player Character – Some players have been disappointed with the seeming lack of options for lighter, paler skin tones during character creation. While this problem could be due to lighting issues, this mod addresses this problem thoroughly. You can see a before and after comparison for male and female characters on the page at NexusMods.
- Arachnophobia Mode – This is a niche issue for some players, but it has caused some players to be unable to advance further in the game or even to purchase the game in the first place. This mod will turn those nasty spiders into boxes, though it won’t change the threat of the monsters.
- Realism Overhaul ReShade Better Textures 2023 – Despite the name, this is not a texture mod (which means you can pair it with other texture mods), but it provides various options that you can select for sharper graphics and sound effects. The mod has several variations as well depending on whether you prefer more bloom, color saturation, or darkness.
- Remove Fog – This mod removes a lot of the fog, motion blur, bloom, and lens flare that can occlude some of the impressive graphics in the game.
