Overwatch 2 Season 3 Release Time: When Does It Start?

Overwatch 2‘s Season 3 is nearly upon us, offering plenty of fresh content, some big changes to Heroes on the roster, and even a Valentine-themed event called LoverWatch, where OW2 will offer its own dating sim experience to players on February 13. Season 3 is due to start today, but players are wondering what time they can sink their teeth into the new content. Here’s what we know.

When is the Overwatch 2: Season 3 release and start time?

With a bit of a later start in the day, Overwatch 2 Season 3 will be starting today, February 7 at 10 AM PT/6 PM GMT. Players can expect to jump straight into Season 3 and its newest Battle Pass which will now help earn Overwatch Credits to purchase almost every seasonal Epic and Legendary skin released prior to OW2’s launch.

A new map — the Antarctic Peninsula will also be introduced, as well as a One-Punch Man anime crossover event starring Doomfist, complete with a Saitama cosmetic, starting March 7. We’re sure to see the in-game balance shift too with numerous changes to Heroes such as Mercy being made, but will these changes help nerf or balance Roadhog’s stranglehold on the competitive meta?
