When is the Warzone 2 Ashika Island release date?

The Ashika Island Resurgence map will be released alongside Season 2 on February 15, 2023. Season 2 was initially due to be released tomorrow, February 1, but was delayed by two weeks to make changes based on player feedback.

Ashika Island will be a similarly-sized map to Rebirth from Warzone. There are seven named points of interest, including Tsuki Castle which seems to be heavily inspired by the Castle map from Call of Duty: World at War and Vanguard. There will also be the modern Town Center packed with market stalls, an underground waterway bunker beneath the castle, an exclusive Beach Club, Ōganniku Farms, a Residential Area, Port Ashika, and even a Shipwreck.

The brand new map will also be introduced for DMZ mode on the same day, although it hasn’t been explained exactly how this map will be added into the Al Mazrah gameplay. The chances are it will be a separate area akin to Building 21.
