Zelda: Breath of the Wild Finding the 4th Shrine and How To Get To It

In the beginning of your The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild adventure you will be tasked with finding and completing four shrines scattered around the starting area. Although three of them are easy to access, a fourth one proves troublesome for most players.

The fourth shrine is located at the southwest corner of the starting area. To get there, you will need to head northwest before heading south across an icy river and up a small hill.

Note that once you cross the river you will start taking damage from the cold temperatures. It is recommended that you cook peppers to provide cold resistance. Later in the game you will obtain certain armors that will help with survival in harsh conditions such as this.

We've drawn the route you need to take to get there in the image below.

We recommend reading our tips guide called '5 Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting Zelda: Breath of the Wild'. This write-up avoids spoilers but prepares you for the challenge ahead.
