While there isn’t a Slime Rancher 2 roadmap that includes specific dates for each planned update, developer Monomi Park has revealed some of its plans for upcoming patches.

On the game’s website in a dedicated FAQ section, it’s explained that “Multiple free updates will be released before Slime Rancher 2 leaves Early Access/Game Preview.” However, there aren’t any definitive dates in place for those new updates.

The developer has avoided setting exact dates so as to afford the development team “maximum time and flexibility to ensure new updates perform as best as possible.”

What will new Slime Rancher 2 updates add?

Though their release dates are unknown, planned Slime Rancher 2 updates are expected to include new areas to explore, slimes to wrangle, resources to collect, and gadgets to build. In addition, the Slime Rancher 2 story will be completed and new features will be added to the game.
