With the launch of the PC beta came a bunch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leaks that point towards upcoming weapons camos and skins. These included MW2 Mastery camos, in addition to Gold and Diamond skins. Here’s a breakdown of the various camo challenges and how players will be able to unlock the Modern Warfare 2 Mastery weapon skin.
How to unlock Modern Warfare 2 Mastery camos
To unlock modern Warfare 2 Mastery camos, players must do the following:
- Gold: Complete all camo challenges for the weapon you want to be Gold.
- Diamond: Get Gold camo for all weapons in the class you want to be Diamond.
- Mastery: Get Diamond (and therefore Gold) for all weapons in the game.
At the time of writing, the above requirements are based on the previous Call of Duty games. If Modern Warfare 2 (2022) changes the unlock conditions, this article will be updated.
What do the Modern Warfare 2 Mastery camos look like?
According to a leaker with a proven track record, @JulesLeak, Modern Warfare 2 will feature Gold, Diamond, and Mastery camos.
The Gold camo will have a topology pattern, while the Diamond will look like Black Ops 2’s Diamond cam mixed with a black and gold tiger pattern. As for the final Mastery camo, it’s reportedly a mix between Modern Warfare (2019)’s Obsidian camo and Modern Warfare Remastered’s Exclusion Zone camo.
