  • You should never start with cards 5 or 10. They will make it easy for your opponent to gain advantage over you.
  • Starting off with a 7 is a good idea, as it will lure your opponent to follow with an 8 and let you play the beneficial 9.
  • You’ll want to place all of the 5’s and 10’s to your own crib.
  • On the other hand, when it comes to your opponent’s crib, try to give him the cards that won’t help him get to 15.
  • Low-number cards become very useful near the end of the game, so keep them. If your opponent can’t play because he has no more cards, you get extra points.
