Disney Dreamlight Valley is now available in Early Access on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. However, as it is in Early Access, error codes and other issues are expected to pop up more frequently. Unfortunately for some users, the “Game Initialization Error 7” is popping up and locking players out of the game.

To fix Disney Dreamlight Valley “Game Initialization Error 7,” players should:

  • Avoid quitting the game with the “Well Fed” buff active.
    • Quitting the game with a golden energy bar on top of the normal energy bar can cause this issue.
  • Note your location.
    • Those in New Zealand and in some states of Australia may experience this “stuck loading” issue.
    • Though there isn’t a fix yet, the developer has acknowledged the bug and has promised that it will be fixed in an upcoming update.
