Resident Evil 7 What To Do If You’re Stuck After the Garage Battle With Jack Baker

Resident Evil 7 is not an easy game. Not only are some of its encounters a serious challenge even on Normal difficulty, but its puzzles require a lot of scavenging.

There are multiple sections in the game where it's common for players to get lost, chief among them is after the battle with Jack Baker in the garage involving a car. While you might have searched YouTube for a walkthrough explanation, it's not easy to pin-point the exact location where you're stuck.

If you're stuck on this part, below is a quick explanation for what you need to do.
  • Go up the ladder in the garage.
  • Just next to the top of the ladder you'll find a shelf with an object on it. Pick up the object.
  • Turn the object until you see a button prompt appear. Press the corresponding key (X on PS4).
  • After receiving the puzzle item, proceed by dropping down at the end of the catwalk.
  • Head to the big double doors with a golden lock on them (this is the spot where Jack Baker initially begins his search for you).
  • Use the puzzle item to gain entry into the next area.
That's all there is to it. Good luck in your adventure!
