Fortnite Deadpool Skin

Is the Fortnite Deadpool Skin Coming Back?

Fans keep hoping the Fortnite Deadpool skin will be available again. It’s one of the most popular seasonal outfits of all time, and plenty of newer players would love a chance to get it. So will the merc-with-the-mouth make a comeback? We’ll look at the possibilities below.

Can you still unlock the Deadpool outfit in Fortnite?

The Deadpool skin is not currently available in Fortnite. The outfit was available during Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2, which took place between February 20 and June 17, 2020. To unlock it, you had to purchase the battle pass and complete each of Deadpool’s Weekly Challenges. Completing enough of them unlocked the default Deadpool skin, and doing more would unlock the Mask Off and X-Force styles.

Unfortunately, once Chapter 2, Season 2, ended on June 17, 2020, players could no longer complete Deadpool’s Weekly Challenges. Since then, the skin has been unavailable, and no announcements have been made pertaining to its return.

We’d expect that the Deadpool skin would be brought back (or a new one would be introduced) to celebrate Deadpool 3. However, that film was noticeably missing from the announced MCU Phase 5 and 6 plans. So, who knows when we’ll see the character again?

There’s also the possibility that the Deadpool skin could return as part of a larger Marvel event. We saw outfits like Daredevil and Captain America get an encore, and enough fans are asking for Deadpool that we wouldn’t be surprised to see it come back for a limited time.

However, Disney has been standoffish about Deadpool since they took over the rights to the character after acquiring 21st Century Fox in 2019. Deadpool 3 is supposedly still coming, but the character is a bit at odds with Disney’s typical image. So we’ll have to wait and see what the company decides to do with not only Deadpool, but the X-Men as well.
