Rumbleverse Cross-play Cross-progression

Does Rumbleverse Have Cross-play and Cross-progression?

Rumbleverse, Iron Galaxy’s free-to-play brawler royale game, was released yesterday for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. With the game on so many different platforms, players have been left wondering if they’ll be able to play matches with their friends on other consoles, as well as transfer their progress between different platforms. Here is our guide to all things cross-play and cross-progression in Rumbleverse.

Does Rumbleverse have cross-play and cross-progression?

Rumbleverse

Rumbleverse has full cross-play functionality across PC and all consoles and there is the option to turn crossplay on and off as a player pleases. This option can be found in the game settings under the Account tab. However, the game warns those that turn off crossplay that they may get longer queue times, lower match populations, or higher latency. For modes like Duos, players can invite their friends from all platforms to team up to be the last team standing. Players can view the platforms of their recently matched players in the settings too, as each nameplate has a little symbol that represents the console or PC.

The game also has cross-progression across all platforms. Regardless of whether players are on last-gen or new-gen Xbox, Playstation, or PC, their progress will be carried across platforms as long as they sign into the same Epic Games account. Players will also be able to transfer their currency and cosmetics between platforms too. If you have a console account that isn’t linked to Epic Games, you can do this through the Epic Games website or through the PC client.
