You need to keep your students happy in Two Point Campus if you want to that tuition money to keep rolling in. Unfortunately, keeping track of all their wants and desires can be exhausting, but if you don’t, things can quickly spiral out of control. Here are some tips on keeping your students’ baseline happiness high so you don’t have to worry about them saying see you later to their alma mater.
How to increase student happiness in Two Point Campus
The main way to make students happy in Two Point Campus is to ensure their needs are met. There are seven different needs in the game, and you’ll need to design your school to address each of them. The needs are:
- Energy
- Healthiness
- Food and Drink
- Toilet Comfort
- Hygiene
- Entertainment
- Environment
We’ll look at how to make sure each of these stays at maximum happiness below.
Energy
The longer a student works, the lower their energy meter will become. As you’d expect, this can be helped by making sure there are enough dorm rooms for students to catch some z’s. Additionally, there are some ways, like grabbing a drink at the Palpitation Machine, for students to get a quick energy boost.
Healthiness
Students can start feeling ill if all they do is munch on vending machine food. There are also illnesses that can go around, and some students just have nasty traits which make them more susceptible to being sick. Make sure you have a Medical Office staffed, and your students are getting a balanced diet to keep Healthiness up.
Food and Drink
This one is simple. Make sure there are enough sources of food and drink around for students to sate their appetites.
Toilet Comfort
Concentrating on your studies is hard when you’re about to go in your pants. Keep your students clean and dry by making sure there are strategically placed bathrooms for them to use. This need can be especially rough because if the meter completely empties, a debuff will be applied, which drains happiness even faster.
Hygiene
Your students can keep this meter full by using a shower room. However, you can also give it little boosts throughout the day by placing hand sanitizers in each room.
Entertainment
Building student lounges and adding items like telephones and arcade machines throughout the school will fill this meter. You can even throw down a Crazy Taxi machine for some retro fun.
Environment
All sorts of items can increase the attractiveness of an environment. To see which ones do, hover over them and look for “increase attractiveness.”
In addition to making sure the above meters are kept full, you can complete student personal goals to get a 25% boost to happiness. These aren’t always available, but make sure to keep an eye out for them because they’re usually pretty each to finish.
