We are fortunate enough that one of the three words we use at the start of every puzzle is “LUCKY.” Not only did we get the “K” in “FLUKE” immediately in the right position, but we also got the “U” in “QUELL.” That might not sound like much, but this helps in figuring out any five-letter word that starts with the very rare “Q” consonant, or at the very least narrows down the possibilities. Given the double “L” consonant, you’ll probably leave “QUELL” as the last word to solve among the four.
Hopefully, you’ll be able to get the “K” sooner than later as it is shared between two words. You’ll probably get it first in “TAKEN” as “FLUKE” also has the uncommon “F” letter in the front. “VINYL” is no slouch either due to the rare “V” consonant, though there aren’t many five-letter words with a “I,” “N,” “L,” and “Y.” Thankfully, the words in the solution have a fair amount of synergy, so solving one word usually gives you a small hint in solving another.
