Multiversus Bugs Bunny Nerf

Multiversus Bugs Bunny Nerf: When Is the Character Getting Nerfed?

With the new game, MultiVersus, taking the fighting game community by storm, it’s no wonder players are curious about upcoming buffs and nerfs after spending time getting to know the characters’ strengths and weaknesses. Some are stronger than others, however, and have gone on to be nerfed by the developer. One such character is Bugs Bunny, who was recently nerfed. Well, it looks like the devs haven’t yet finished with the Looney Tunes here, as a second nerf is incoming. Here’s the need-to-know info about the Multiversus Bugs Bunny nerf and when to expect the patch that implements it.

When is Bugs Bunny being nerfed?

The Bugs Bunny nerf will be implemented after the EVO tournament has finished, likely during the week starting August 8.

In a tweet from Tony Huynh, MultiVersus’ game director, it was confirmed that the next Bugs Bunny nerf will be put into place after the Evolution Championship Series 2022 has been completed. Huynh has said that “Bugs Bunny will always be fun” even though he will be made less powerful, which can be a little offputting for those who have purchased.

Like many other characters, Bugs Bunny has already experienced a minor nerf, which changed the following:

  • Air Up Attack: Startup window increased by 2 frames, active window decreased by 2 frames
  • The hitbox made it so that Bugs Bunny hit nearly all around himself. This should make the up air a bit more reasonable to deal with.

On the bright side, at least players are being given an early warning of the incoming nerf. Get those final games in with Bugs Bunny before the patch lands!

In other gaming news, Ultra unlock bonuses are now available for the Pokemon Go Hisuian Discories Event. Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 patch notes are now available and include details on Rebirth of the Dead. LeBron James has been added to the Multiversus open beta.
