Will Natalie Portman play Thor again

Will Natalie Portman play Thor again after Love and Thunder?

Fans are no doubt wondering whether or not Natalie Portman will play Thor again after Love and Thunder. Returning as Jane Foster who obtains the power of Mighty Thor, Portman plays a key role in the new Thor 4 movie. However, following the events of the film, will she ever return? Here are all of the details.

Will Natalie Portman play Thor again

Is Natalie Portman going to play Mighty Thor again?

It’s unlikely that Natalie Portman is going to play Thor again.

Following her death to stage 4 cancer combined with the Mjolnir hammer sucking the final bit of life from her, Jane Foster enters Valhalla, the Viking afterlife.

To undo a death like that is highly unlikely, so her revival is not expected. Though, it isn’t impossible, so don’t rule it out entirely.

Actor Natalie Portman hasn’t officially confirmed or denied whether or not she is or would like to return to the MCU as either Jane Foster or Mighty Thor.

Will Jane Foster return after Thor: Love and Thunder?

With the existence of the multiverse, it’s possible that Jane Foster will return after Thor: Love and Thunder.

Though Jane Foster from MCU Earth-616 has died, other variants of her may have survived. With how much the MCU is diving into the multiverse and the infinite possibilities therein, it’s very possible that Jane Foster will return in some form.

It’s also possible that Jane Foster will return as part of a flashback or even as part of What If? season 2. Again, there are infinite possibilities with Marvel movies and TV shows now, so fans should never say never.
