There are only about four uncommon letters throughout the solution, and one of those letters is repeated three times. If you have trouble with any of the words, it will likely be the one in the bottom-right position as it has the relatively more intricate combination of vowels and consonants. The Quordle answer 164 is:

Due to the “M” vowel and the repeated “U” vowel, “MUCUS” is the hardest word to decipher among the four. Not many five-letters words feature two “U” vowels, which can work for or against your puzzle-solving. Luckily, the “U” in “TULIP” will give you the “U” in the second position here. We always use the first three words to eliminate all of the vowels and the most common consonants, and so we get the “C” and “S” as well. By process of elimination, the “U” is the only possible vowel left to fill out the puzzle so you’ll likely get the second “U” in the fourth position.
The remaining words aren’t that difficult to work out. The first one we solved was “TULIP” as there aren’t many combinations of “T”, “U”, “L”, and “I” for a five-letter word. That fortunately gave us the “P” in the fifth position as well as the two “P” letters highlighted in yellow for the first and third words. With that information, figuring out “SPADE” and “LIPID” is a breeze. “LIPID” may take you some time if you’re not familiar with this more technical term for fats, but the two “I” vowels should help narrow down the possibilities even if you don’t know its definition.
