Roblox avatars are turning into noob character skins again and causing confusion amongst players. Instead of their own personalized outfits, players are logging into the game to find their avatars stuck in noob attire, with yellow skin, a blue vest, and green pants. It’s a classic look, sure, but it’s not exactly unique, especially when everyone on a server is being forced to wear it. Thankfully, there’s an explanation. Here’s the need-to-know info on why Roblox avatars are turning into noobs and when players can expect to get their normal character skins back again.
Why are Roblox avatars turning into noob skins?
Roblox avatars are turning into noob skins because of server issues.
In the past, Roblox avatars get the nooby yellow, blue, and green skin when there are issues with the “GetCharacterAppearanceAsync” command. Servers are unable to sync with the player’s skin details and so the default “noob” skin is used in its place.
This problem usually occurs on a big scale, which is why so many players suddenly appear with the noob skin applied.
A surge in noob avatars has been followed by server downtime in the past, so it’s possible that Roblox servers will soon be down. Though it’s not guaranteed, it’s well worth planning for the servers potentially going down.
When will my Roblox avatar get its skin back?
Roblox avatars will get their normal skins back after the server issues are fixed.
In the meantime, players can try to join a different server to fix the noob avatar issue, but it’s probably best to wait it out. The problem has always been fixed in the past, with players’ custom avatars returning.
