The Quordle 111 answer for May 15, 2022 has been solved. Compared to the last few Quordles, today’s puzzle is quite challenging. Each word in the solution is difficult in its own way, especially the top-right word that features two double-letter instances and the lower-right word that might be unusual for you unless you know a lot about fauna. If you need a hint, it’s a rather exotic animal that’s close to being a pig. Need more help? The full solution can be found after the break.
What is the Quordle answer 111? (May 15, 2022)
The Quordle answer 111 is:
- “DELTA”
- “ROTOR”
- “QUOTE”
- “TAPIR”
All of the words in Quordle 111 have their own tricks. “DELTA” is the easiest of the four, though it does have an unusual configuration. “QUOTE” is difficult mainly due to the rare “Q” consonant, but the other letters in “-OTE” shouldn’t be hard to pinpoint.
On the other hand, “ROTOR” and “TAPIR” will likely give you the most trouble. “TAPIR” doesn’t have particularly rare letters, but it’s not the most common animal for many in the States as its natural habitat is the jungle and forest regions of South and Central America. “ROTOR” is difficult because it features the double consonant “R” and the double vowel “O.” Hopefully, you’ll at least be able to figure out the double vowel after eliminating all the vowels with the first few guesses.
Where classic Wordle only gives players six guesses for one word, Quordle gives more leeway to give players more room to solve all four words across the grid. To take advantage of this, it’s recommended that your first three tries cover all the common consonants (think Wheel of Fortune here) and all the vowels including the “Y.” This should give you plenty of letters in the green or yellow by the fourth guess, so you should be able to work out at least one of the words by then.
