Ridiculous skins are not new to the franchise, and for the upcoming Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone called Classified Arms, players will be able to get skins based on two legendary monsters in one crazy crossover event named Operation Monarch. Here’s how to obtain the Godzilla skin and the Kong skin.
How to unlock Kong and Godzilla skins in Warzone and Vanguard
The Godzilla skin and Kong skin for Call of Duty: Warzone can only be unlocked by purchasing the respective Tracer Packs during Operation Monarch.
This is similar to the Tracer Pack: Snoop Dogg Operation Bundle, where you could only get the legendary-tier Snoop Dogg operator skin by purchasing the bundle for 2400 CP. That bundle came with extra blueprints for various guns, an emblem, a Mellow Metal charm, a High Art spray, a Tactical Toke highlight intro, and Finishizzle Movizzle finishing move.
The developers for Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard posted an infographic (posted above) of the roadmap for Season 3 “Classified Arms” which begins on April 27 at 9am PT (you can view the image in its larger resolution by right-clicking on the image and viewing it in a new tab). In the lower left-hand corner of the image, it shows three operator skins that will available in various tracer packs for a limited time during Operation Monarch: Kong, Godzilla Reactive Mastercraft, and Mechagodzilla.
At the time of this writing, it’s not yet known how much the tracer packs for the Godzilla and Kong skins will cost, but it will likely be about 2400 CP if the Snoop Dogg tracer pack is any indication. Hopefully, players will be able to obtain all three operator skins in one full bundle instead of two or three separate tracer packs, as the infographic somewhat suggests. We can also expect that the tracer pack for Kong and Godzilla skins will likely come with a litany of extra gun skins and collectibles to convince you of the price tag.
When is the Call of Duty: Warzone Kong and Godzilla event release date?
Operation Monarch, the name for the Call of Duty: Warzone Kong and Godzilla event, will begin on May 11 at 9am PST.
As a limited-time event, Operation Monarch will feature Kong and Godzilla as Titans of the Monsterverse, with the developers teasing that it will include giant skulls, rebuilt defenses, ancient artifacts, and Monarch Research equipment. The event will also introduce a new game mode called Quads.
