Elden Ring Stargazers’ Ruins Sealed Door Puzzle Solution: How to Find the Jellyfish’s Sister

Players will find a sad situation when visiting the Stargazers’ Ruins in Elden Ring. A girl’s voice will be asking where her sister went. A Spirit Jellyfish is asking this haunting question floating near a staircase leading downward. Fortunately, there’s a way players can reunite the jellyfish sisters and unlock the nearby sealed door that’s so simple it might not even occur to them.

How to reunite the sisters at Stargazers’ Ruins and unlock the sealed door in Elden Ring

Elden Ring Jellyfish Sisters

To reunite the Spirit Jellyfish with her sister in Elden Ring, players just need to summon another one. Coincidentally, the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes contain the little girl’s sister. There’s actually a hint to solve this puzzle nearby that is easy to miss.

There’s a set of gravestones nestled into a nook in a cliff on a path leading down from the ruins. It reads, “Here lie Aurelia and Aureliette, who never saw the stars.”

This clue makes sense after reading the description for the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes:

“Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell.

Use to summon a spirit jellyfish.

A floating spirit that illuminates its surroundings.

Prone to tears, the jellyfish girl searches for her distant home. Will bravely spew poison at foes on her summoner’s behalf.

It seems her name is Aurelia.”

Fortunately, it’s almost impossible to reach the Mountaintops of the Giants without getting the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes. Roderika gives them to the player when they meet her at Stormhill Shack early on in the game. Even if players somehow miss them there, they can always grab them from her at the Roundtable Hold. Oh, and don’t worry, the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes will remain in players’ inventories after the puzzle is solved.

After players reunite the Spirit Jellyfish sisters, the seal on the door in Stargazers’ Ruins will break. Players can then head down the stairs and find a treasure chest with a Primal Glintstone Blade.
