Exciting news for Fortnite fans, as a skin inspired by Spider-Man: No Way Home makes its way to the game. Spidey was first introduced in the latest Chapter 3, and the new suit captures Peter Parker’s look from the movie, complete with Tom Holland’s face. Given the undeniable hype around the movie, fans have been looking back on previous Spider-Men, too. As such, will there be Fortnite Spider-Man skins based on Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield?
Are there Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Fortnite Spider-Man skins?
At present, there are no Fortnite Spider-Man skins based on Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. All we have right now is a general comic book Spidey and a Tom Holland skin.
Yes, Fortnite players are now able to run around as Tom Holland’s Spidey. These new skins, based on his two suits in the No Way Home movie, are landing as part of the Fortnite Winterfest 2021 event. They land in the item shop at 7 PM ET on December 16, just in time for the movie’s worldwide release. There’s also a skin based on Zendaya’s MJ, which should drop at the same time.
Of course, while there aren’t skins based on Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield yet, they could still arrive in the future. Both former Spideys still have a lot of love within the fanbase, so adding them would provide some nice fan service. However, nothing is official yet, so players will have to wait and see whether Epic Games decides to add them. Given the surprising nature of this skin’s release after some leaks, anything could happen.
