Halo Infinite Missables: Can you miss any collectables in the campaign?

There’s a lot to see and even more to collect in Halo Infinite. After all, exploring Zeta Halo and unlocking slick new toys are all part of the experience. However, some players are discovering the hard way that certain items are easily missed. Are there truly missable items in the game? Is there any way to go back and find any collectables you may have missed?

Can you miss collectables in Halo Infinite campaign?

Unfortunately, it is possible to miss collectables while playing the Halo Infinite campaign. For now, there’s no option to go back and replay previous missions. As such, if you miss audio logs, skulls, or lockers the first time around, you’ll have to wait until the campaign finishes to search for them again. Alternatively, you can simply start a new save file and start from scratch.

This is a bit surprising, considering past Halo games allowed players to go back to play previous campaign chapters. Since you could return to any areas, there was no real worry of missing items or gear. But since Halo Infinite doesn’t allow chapter skip yet, you may wind up missing several collectables in the newest release.

Luckily, this may not be the case for long. Speaking to The Verge, 343 Industries’ Paul Crocker said the chapter replay issue was being “worked on.” Hopefully with a future update, players will be able to go back to previously completed campaign chapters. With that ability, there won’t be anxiety about searching for missable items.

As things stand now, though, you should play through each campaign mission carefully. Stay on the lookout for Spartan Cores and any other collectables that may be hidden off the beaten path. Don’t forget about earning Valor, either, as those weapon and vehicle unlocks make it easier to survive long enough to explore hidden nooks and crannies. Otherwise, you may not get a chance to find them again until the campaign is over or an update allows you to skip chapters.
