Valor is among the many unique systems in Halo Infinite. It works like experience, where the more you collect, the more weapons and vehicles you’ll unlock. However, it’s not offered as a reward for just anything. To get more of it, you’ll need to engage in specific missions and activities. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to earn Valor quickly.
How to get Valor in Halo Infinite
The simplest way to earn Valor in Halo Infinite is to complete the game’s main missions. Valor is also rewarded for clearing Banished outposts, rescuing USNC allies through the Zeta Halo Ring, or destroying Propaganda Towers.
In other words, Valor is not exactly in short supply. You’ll earn the bulk of it through the main campaign, so feel free to play at your own pace. However, if you want to earn more Valor, you’ll eventually want to venture off the main path.
Aside from completing main quests, side quests are the second fastest way to earn Valor. There are several different options available:
- Destroy Propaganda Towers scattered about the map
- Rescue USNC Squads by following distress signals to Marines in need
- Clear out Banished outposts throughout Zeta Halo
The rewards for these activities will vary. Clearing out Banished encampments and rescuing allied Marines will offer the highest reward, while destroying towers offers a lesser reward. It’s probably best to focus on Banished outposts firsts — look for them on the map where they’re marked by a purple icon. They’re hard to miss; you’re likely to stumble upon one or two as you explore the open world.
Ultimately, you’ll want to keep your eye out for all activities if you’re looking to score all FOB unlocks. Completing campaign missions is the fastest way to earn Valor in Halo Infinite, but side quests help too. Don’t pass up the chance to rescue Marines or destroy Banished encampments, as the reward may be key to your next FOB upgrade. And while you’re out fighting, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for hidden Spartan Cores.
