Halo Infinite Campaign: How to preload, release and launch time, download size

The Halo Infinite campaign release time is nearly here and fans who have been waiting for the latest Halo game for several years won’t be kept waiting for much longer — especially if they prefer the single-player story to the multiplayer, which was released last month. However, what exactly is the Halo Infinite launch time on PC and Xbox? Is there a Halo Infinite campaign preload option, including on Game Pass?

What is the Halo Infinite campaign release time?

Halo Infinite campaign

The Halo Infinite campaign will release today, December 8, at 10 AM PST/1 PM EST/6 PM GMT. This includes everyone who has pre-ordered the game on Xbox Live or on PC, either through Steam, the Windows Store, or the Xbox app. All Game Pass subscribers will get access to Halo Infinite’s campaign at this time too.

Is there Halo Infinite campaign preload?

There is no preload available for Halo Infinite campaign. This is disappointing but presumably, because the campaign is counted as DLC for the free multiplayer component, it cannot be made available earlier.

What is the Halo Infinite campaign install size?

The Halo Infinite campaign size is approximately 48.42 GB in total, depending on platform, which includes the multiplayer component. The multiplayer side is approximately 26.53 GB. If the player already has the multiplayer beta installed then there will be a large day-one patch along with the campaign, meaning the download update size will be around 29.83 GB.

While players can install the Halo Infinite multiplayer component without the campaign, it seems like it’ll be impossible to install the single-player campaign without the multiplayer side — so there is no way of saving that 26.53 GB if the player only plans on playing the campaign side, as many will want to.
