Call of Duty Vanguard map voting

Call of Duty: Vanguard: Will map voting come back and be added?

Is it possible that Call of Duty: Vanguard map voting could be added back to the game? The traditional Call of Duty map voting option disappeared in the most recent Modern Warfare reboot and reappeared in Black Ops Cold War, but the popular feature has been completely removed from the latest Call of Duty game. Will map voting be added to Call of Duty: Vanguard in an update, or has it been deliberately left out?

Will Call of Duty Vanguard map voting return in an update?

Call of Duty Vanguard map voting

At the moment there are no plans to add map voting to Call of Duty: Vanguard’s multiplayer modes as the feature seems to have been removed on purpose by developer Sledgehammer, although it could still possibly return in an update at a later date if fan support for map voting is significant and noticed by the developer.

The missing feature was noticed by Reddit user willfan8, who caused a minor storm this week with his post requesting map voting back. Many players cannot understand why map voting was removed from the latest game in the series, especially after all the complaints about the feature being absent in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare prompted Treyarch to put it back in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

It seems likely that map voting was deliberately removed as some players suspect because of customizable playlists and the fact that only the most popular maps tend to get the vote, so many maps probably weren’t getting played. Nevertheless, fan support of map voting is definitely still present, so it may get put back in at a later date. Sledgehammer is yet to comment on the situation.
