Forza Horizon 5 Forzathon Shop Not Working: Failed to download items error fix

The Forza Horizon 5 Forzathon Shop not working bug is currently affecting the game, with it displaying the error: ‘Failed to download shop items. Please try again later.’ This prevents players from being able to buy items in the Festival Playlist menu, an unfortunate occurrence for those who have been steadily accumulating their Forzathon Points. So why is the Forzathon Shop offline, and is there a way to fix it?

Can you fix Forza Horizon 5 Forzathon Shop not working?

Playground Games has disabled the Forzathon Shop during its launch window, meaning that the shop is not supposed to be currently active. This is presumably to ensure that all of the games online components are working as intended, but it does mean that the shop won’t be working until the developer has brought it online.

It’s currently not clear when that date will be and when the Forzathon Shop will start working again, though it shouldn’t be too long before players can spend their Forzathon Points. With these points earned by completing a variety of objectives in the game’s open-world, from racing other players in a PvP setting to completing daily challenges, those who have been building up their stash of points understandably want to spend them as soon as possible. However, Playground Games hasn’t added anything to the shop just yet, suggesting that some exciting additions could be on their way in the near future.

While this is exciting news for those building up their Forzathon Points, it’ll be some time yet until the shop is officially opened. Players will just have to wait it out until Playground Games brings the shop online.

In other news, a Fall Guys x Fortnite crossover was recently teased in datamined leaks. A Kingdom Hearts 4 release date was also potentially revealed in leaks published by an online retailer.
