Nintendo’s Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes are finally nearing launch on Nintendo Switch. But, will the nostalgic favorites be available on other console platforms? Here’s the need-to-know info on Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, and PC release dates.

Are there Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl PS5 and PS4 versions?

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are launching on November 19, 2021. There is no Pokemon Shining Pearl and Brilliant Diamond PlayStation release date for PS5 and PS4, as both Gen 4 remakes are Nintendo Switch exclusives.

Unfortunately, it isn’t likely that the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes will ever come to Sony’s PlayStation platforms. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company don’t port games in the popular Pokemon series to competing platforms.

Are there Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Xbox versions?

The Pokemon Shining Pearl and Brilliant Diamond release dates are both on November 19, 2021. These remakes are exclusive to Nintendo Switch, so there’s no Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Xbox Series X, Series S, and Xbox One release date.

Of course, this also rules out a Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Xbox Game Pass launch. Game Pass subscribers won’t get to download and play the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes for free on their Xbox consoles.

Is there a Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl PC version?

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl PC release date

PC gamers can play Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl on Nintendo Switch following its release on November 19, 2021. Dedicated Pokemon Shining Pearl and Brilliant Diamond PC ports aren’t coming to Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows 10, or elsewhere.

The mainline Pokemon series is exclusive to Nintendo platforms. Although there are official spin-off games on mobile, there’s no precedent for any entries making their way to personal computers and/or Apple Mac hardware.
