Call of Duty Vanguard Bad Spawns

Call of Duty: Vanguard Bad Spawns: Why are spawn points so broken?

Call of Duty: Vanguard is out now, with many players jumping into the multiplayer for the first time. Unfortunately, one common complaint that is already appearing is that “Vanguard has bad spawns.” This was a common criticism during the beta, but it seems players still have their complaints. Here’s the need-to-know info on CoD: Vanguard spawns and whether they really are that bad.

Why are the Call of Duty: Vanguard spawns so bad?

The Call of Duty: Vanguard spawns are so bad because of a combination of map size and player count.

Players who are selecting the “Blitz” or “All” pacing will experience maps that are filled to the brim with players. This can often result in “bad spawns,” where players can see enemies spawning in and immediately shoot them. With little to no spawn protection or momentary immunity from damage, it can seem very unfair.

Though Sledgehammer Games has worked to improve spawns following the beta, it’s possible that further tweaking is required.

When will the Call of Duty: Vanguard spawns get fixed?

Like the many other aspects of the game, the Call of Duty: Vanguard spawns can be “fixed” or changed at any time.

Developer Sledgehammer Games will no doubt be monitoring player feedback over the launch weekend. If the team sees a big problem with spawns, then they should target that in a future patch.

Players who are having a bad time with spawns should set the pacing to “Tactical” to enjoy more traditional player counts and keep instances of “bad spawns” to a minimum.
