The Forza Horizon 5 “you’re too early” message is popping up for players looking to play the game today, with many being left disappointed as a result. So why can’t you play Forza Horizon 5 today, and is there a way around this message on PC, Xbox, and the Microsoft Store? Let’s take a look.
What is the Forza Horizon 5 ‘you’re too early’ message?
Forza Horizon 5 will tell you “you’re too early” if you attempt to load up the Game Pass or base edition of the game before its November 9, 2021 release date. The only way to “fix” this error message is to purchase the Premium Edition or Premium Add-ons Bundle, which gives players early access.
The full error message reads: “You’re too early. We know you really want to get started, but you’ll have to wait a bit longer. Check the store for the launch date.”
Forza Horizon 5 early access has begun today, which is why you may see other players enjoying it online. However, for those who want to play the racing game as part of their Game Pass subscription, you’ll be left waiting until next week. Premium Edition is the only way you’ll be able to play today, while everyone else can join in on November 9.
If you’ve pre-loaded the game but still don’t have access to its Premium Edition, then you’ll still be left waiting. While some may have believed that pre-loading would give them access today, that isn’t the case — you’ve pre-loaded Forza Horizon 5 ahead of its general release, though you’ll still have to wait.
Fortunately, when you do manage to play Forza Horizon 5, it’ll be worth the wait. As we’ve noted in our review, it makes a strong case for the best racing game ever.
In other news, Elden Ring’s collector’s edition was recently revealed and is currently on sale. Marvel’s Midnight Suns was unfortunately delayed, due to the game needing more time in the oven.
