Forza Horizon 5 players can get early access to the game before its release date, but there’s a catch to it. Most will likely want to play the game via Xbox Game Pass but will have to balance that against wanting to play sooner. We’ll detail the Forza Horizon 5 early access release date and how to get the game sooner below.
How can you get early access to Forza Horizon 5?
Those that pre-order Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition can get early access to the game on November 5. Everyone else will have to wait until the official release date of November 9 to gain access.
Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition can be purchased for $99.99. This means fans will have to make a tough choice between waiting four days to play it via an Xbox Game Pass subscription or to splurge and get early access. Fortunately, the Premium Edition contains more perks than just getting to play the game early. It also comes with:
- The base Forza Horizon 5 game
- The Welcome Pack:
- Five pre-tuned cars
- One free car token
- Three common or rare clothing item tokens
- A player house
- Forza Horizon 5 VIP Membership:
- Three exclusive Forza Edition cars
- Crown Flair
- Vanity Items
- Emote and Car Horn
- 2x Credit race rewards
- Weekly bonus Super Wheelspins
- A player house
- Forza Horizon 5 Car Pass:
- 34 new cars (one per week)
- Eight Formula Drift Cars
- Two upcoming expansions
Unfortunately, aside from buying the Premium Edition, there’s no way to get early access to Forza Horizon 5. It’s also hard to quantify if the Premium Edition is worth it since we haven’t seen all the cars and expansions yet. Xbox Game Pass gives players the base game, and it can’t be directly upgraded to the Premium Edition. Unfortunately, this means that for those with Xbox Game Pass, getting the game four days early won’t be a big enough motivator for most players to buy it at full price.
