The Fortnite 3.36 (or 18.30 on PC) update patch notes reveal what has been included in the new Fortnite update today, with it also being accompanied by leaks and datamines showing what could be introduced to the battle royale in the near future. Here’s everything included in this new update.

Fortnite 3.36 (18.30) update patch notes

The patch notes for the Fortnite 3.36 (18.30) update are as follows, and they currently consist of fixes Epic Games has outlined will be rectified in an upcoming patch:

  • Using the “Smash Attack” ability with the Sideways Scythe may result in fall damage.
  • Red dot indicator no longer shows on compass when enemies are firing.
  • Error message when trying to equip certain color combinations of Tricksy. (Creative)
  • Trees are not appearing on Island Map.
  • Players can get stuck inside the vault door in the Lab Dungeon. (Save the World)

All of these are marked to be fixed in the next game update in the Fortnite Community Issues Trello, which Epic uses to outline what it is currently working on.

Fortnite 18.30 leaks and datamines

As per usual, various leaks and datamines have been unearthed since the Fortnite 18.30 update went live. Prominent leaker HYPEX has revealed a bunch of of details including new cosmetics and variants, a new skin set, along with images of new shop additions that will be introduced to the game. As expected, most have a Halloween theme, given that the holiday is right around the corner.

The Batman Who Laughs skin will also be added to Fortnite later today, the same day that the 3.36 (18.30) patch has gone live. The skin is set to become available at 5 PM PT, October 25, so Bat-fans should make sure they’ve got the time marked down in their diary.

In other Fortnite news, the Horde Rush rewards were outlined for season 8. A future Spider-Man collaboration was also teased in leaks.
