When does eFootball 2022 update patch 0.9.1 come out?

Currently, the eFootball 2022 update patch 0.9.1 does not have a release date. It was planned to release on 28 October 2021, but has is now delayed indefinitely.

Yes, a statement from the official eFootball Twitter announced the postponement of update 0.9.1. There is no new release date in sight. They gave no reason for the delay in the statement. However, given the glitchy state in which the game released, Konami clearly need more time to resolve the problems.

Interestingly, there’s no new information on what update 0.9.1 will do to eFootball 2022. In a previous tweet announcing the patch, Konami said it would “focus on fixing the issues already reported.” These included broken matchmaking, and a bug kicking players out of games. Now the patch has been delayed, it seems that players will have to deal with these game-breaking issues for even longer.

It means that eFootball 2022 remains in a semi-broken state. Even aside from the matchmaking problems, fans complained about the game’s graphical output. That primarily focused on soccer players’ facial features, and poorly-rendered crowds. It seems that update 0.9.1 will not fix those problems, and as such, eFootball 2022 may continue to be unpopular with soccer fans.

However, it proves that Konami are still focused on improving the game. That said, it appears to be taking longer than initially expected. Anticipation for update 0.9.1 will surely increase now, as it promises to fix the several problems affecting the game at launch.

There was some favor for eFootball, as it was an easy 1000 Gamerscore title for trophy hunters.

In other news, the GTA Trilogy received a new trailer, with details on its price and system requirements.
