Pokemon Go: What are the Halloween Cup rewards?

Pokemon Go Halloween Cup

  • 15 x Yamask Candy
  • 15 x Sableye Candy
  • 15 x Scraggy Candy

As you can see, competing each set of research tasks will give you plenty of Candy. In particular, they focus on the game’s Ghost-type Pokemon – which isn’t much of a surprise. These rewards are unlockable once you’ve completed each set of research objectives. Within those mini-objectives, you’ll get the chance to encounter Yamask, Sableye, and Scraggy in the wild. As such, the big rewards are very handy, providing you a boost of Candy. It’ll help you edge towards evolving these Pokemon.

However, the rewards might be a little less than Pokemon Go players were expecting. Some of these research objectives are quite laborious, involving a lot of battles in the competitive Battle League. That’s where the best players go to battle and compete to be the best. Since the rewards aren’t anything more than you could get using Pinap Berries, it might deter some players from attempting the research.

The annual Pokemon Go Halloween Cup kicks off on October 15. It lasts until October 31, giving you just enough time to complete the objectives by Halloween. It’ll involve lots of battles against high-skilled opponents – but there’s an awful lot of Candy on offer. Happy battling!
