Call of Duty: Vanguard Clans: How does Clan progress work?

Call of Duty: Vanguard is slated to introduce a freshly tweaked Clan system. It should be familiar to players who recall Modern Warfare’s Regiments system, but there are some notable differences. Namely, Vanguard offers unique Clan progression perks and unlocks. So how does Clan progression work in Call of Duty: Vanguard? In truth, it’s really not so complicated.

How does Clan progress work in Call of Duty: Vanguard?

Clan progression in Call of Duty: Vanguard works basically the same way as solo progression. The only difference is that Clan progress and rewards will be gained separately, whether through your Groups or through the Battle Pass.

Basically, progression will work the same as it always has. You’ll be able to complete challenges and earn kills to gain XP, which will increase your Rank. New Ranks mean new unlocks in the form of weapon blueprints, operators, and other cosmetic items.

The difference this time around is that you’ll have a separate progression when playing with your Clan. Details are still slim at this point, but the developers say Clans will have their own progression path with unique emblems as well as bespoke Battle Pass-related rewards. Even better, the rewards will unlock for the entire group.

Of course, perhaps the best part of the new Clan system is its integration with Vanguard’s cross-platform support. Since players across platforms and generations can play with one another, there’s nothing stopping players from joining Clans with their friends on any hardware.

Clan progression in Call of Duty: Vanguard will work basically the same as solo progression, just separately. You’ll still be able to complete challenges and unlock rewards, except now entire Clans will get their own progression path. You’ll even be able to use your Clan progress to unlock new Battle Pass rewards. Whether playing solo or with friends, you’ll always have a new goal to look forward to.
